Default Rode in my first Turbo Integra

SICK is all I have to say!
My friend just finished the install yesterday...of the turbo and the rebuilt motor...so he didnt get on it much...but damn it sounds dope as hell! The turbo "whirling" is loud! (I would almost think that sound could get annoying at times?)

Heh...guess who's considering a turbo now

I love the turbo also..and I might just do a nice little setup here soon!
I can sell alot of my all motor parts that will help finance the turbo...guess Ill have to see in the future.

Shouldn't he break in the turbo before he goes blasting around?

hehe.. originally I was considering a B18C-R engine swap until I sat in my friend's turbocharged D16Y8, and he was killing all the B16A/B18Cs.. I just feel that VTEC doesn't reach its full potential unless there's a lil' bit of boost to this day in my own car, i'm killing all the normally aspirated DOHC VTEC engines, including those almighty CRVTEC engines (B20 block with B16 head). I'm happy.. although its costed me too much to get to where I stand now. If I was to do it all again, i'd just sell my car an buy a Mitsubishi Evo

My friend still iskinda dumb...heh

He didnt really get on it...but he did get on it alot more then I would!
The engine was just rebuilt like 50 miles before and the turbo has been on for 50 miles...and he did take it to around 5000...not too smart. He probably reached full boost already on a fresh engine.

Someone's asking for another $3000 rebuild... stay off the boost 'till the motor is properly broken in!

Thats what I told him! He shouldnt even take the motor past 3000 RPMs for the first few hundred miles..and here he is boosting to 5000 RPMs with only 50 miles on the new pistons/rings
