I personally would rather turbo my car and add some big brakes, but CF hoods do look tight. If you are only going to get one seat, I would wait until you can get both so you don't look like a half assed enthuasist. Just my opinion, and I am not say ing you are, I just believe in doing things right the first time and only one time, unless, of course it is a constant evolution of even better things. I will quit rambling.

its not that im a half assed enthusiest if i can even spell that word.... but to me, i think screw the passenger, the driver is the one who needs the seat. but yes it does look good with both.

*personally* I would go for the seats.

I watch too much Initial D. What do you care more about? The way you get attention from other people or the way your butt sits comfortably and tight in the seats?

I believe sparcos and other bucket type seats have a generally lower seating level too, correct me if I'm wrong.

when i sat in my friends torinos they seemed higher. but that may also be the differnce in different cars.

Default SEATS -VS- HOOD

integls98:

Do you do a lot of Auto-X?
SCCA?
Does your back hurt on long drives?
YES:
--> Then get seats.

Do you do a lot of Auto-X?
SCCA? Drag Racing?
Do you want to look "phat"???
YES:
--> Then get the hood.

I bought del Sol seats for my Teg because my back couldn't stand the lower part of stock LS seats for more than 2 hours.

Before you buy seats you should try them out. Just because a seat has a nice Japanese or Italian name, doesn't mean it will fit your posture very well. I got lucky with the del Sol seats. A dealership had a Sol for sale and I test drove it before deciding to buy them.

Good luck,
wotteg

You will need both.
The torino seat is heavier than your stock seat, so you will need the hood to offset the weight.

The stock seats weigh about 33lbs. The torinos weigh over 40 with seat and brackets.
