Building a d16a6 questions...
i was thinking of getting some **** other then more bolt on's for my d16a6. but i don't know if its worth it...or just go get a b16.
sure a b16 will have lower miles. but i think it will be sick to pop my hood after keeping up or beating a b series and only have sohc.
anyone have done this? how much would i be looking to spend, to basically rebuild my motor and make it pretty nasty?
thanks

I smell another turbo D
Get some rods, pistons, sleeve the block, Greddy turbo kit w/fmic and bov, hondata,up the boost and blow the doors of B series cars,Og course you'll need more stuff than I just said, but you get the idea

now that ^^ is the exspensive way. If your set on boost..then do a junkyard turbo setup (www.homemadeturbo.com) The a6 has perfect compression ratio for nice boost, use turboedit or ghettodyne, get a nice intercooler and run around 8 psi daily.
If you want to go NA, get some p29 pistons from the teg, port and polish the head, get a good cam(exospeed.com) springs/retainers, and again tune with ghettodyne or turboedit, or just and fpr and an AFC hack, get a good header and exhaust and ur set.
Both should be well under 1500 dollars and both should run damn near the same times...all up to ur tastes on what u want to do, and ur bank account..both these ways are "cheap" decent horsepower builds for the Dseries.
