Spoon Bushings -> anyone have them?
Does anyone have them installed? noticeable improvements?
I am thinking about lower arm bar, shifter, and the suspension bushings...
(what is exactly included in Spoon suspension bushings?)
is it ok to buy used ones? will it be hard to install?
any good website with more info about these bushings?

I dont have them, but I plan to go w/ the complete set from Vision when mine wear out. They come pre-pressed into stock arms so it makes this an easy R&R job.

Hmm, those vision bushings look cool, but it must cost an ton to get those since it involves getting new arms as well.
As for the spoon bushings, I think some of them are severely overpriced and they don't even make a complete set to fit Integras. The shifter bushings are 100+!!! Their engine mount set is reasonable.
Mugen makes a complete set of bushings for Integras, ones the ES and Prothane don't make replacements for. Plus they are an entire bushing, so no need to reuse the shell. I recently replaced my trailing arm bushings with some Mugen ones.
Replacement isn't too bad if you just have a shop press them out and in for 10 dollars a bushing.
As for price the Mugen ones are expensive but somewhat reasonable. Prothane sells their trailing arm bushing set for 100 (not the insert, the whole bushing) so it costs the same as the Mugen.
The cool thing (or downside) about spoon/mugen bushings is that they are hard rubber, not urethane. No squeaking, and no excessive harshness (mainly because of engine mounts), but I bet you are giving up some performance as a result.

Well, I am getting them from BOZZ Performance...
It's from their DEMO 98 ITR...(They're parting them out)..

Spoon only make lower arm bushings shift linkage bushings for the ITR. The Lower arm ones reduces toe out during acceleration. The shift linkage provides a much better feel .

How about spending 1/10th of the money and get Energy Suspension?
Grease 'em once in a while if your ears are sensitive to squeaking.
My Civic was a COMPLETELY different car after I did that.
All you need is a press and a couple hours.

Why would you want rubber? Its a natural composition and when exposed to the 'elements' it begins to decay from day one. Urethane is man made and is not effected by weather. Also they are not squeeky unless they're put in the wrong spot, installed wrong, or not greased properly. Just some info.
I know this thread is really really old, but i have had the spoon trailing arm bushings on my eg for about 3 years now and am very , very impressed, that and the progress sway bar go hand in hand and highly recommend. I decided to respond to the thread because I do not see anyone commenting on these trailing arm bushings but are worth it....
