Default ZC VTEC 1.6L Turbo

Just got the engine from SOKO ....let me know feedback if this engine will be a good candidate for a turbo Greddy stup and about 12 psi of boost.

how many miles does it have on it? Do you want to build the motor at all? If not I would say 9-10psi would be the highest I would go. If you get rods/pistons and something to tune with you could do 12psi all day. You also have to remember that how much boost you are running isnt really the important thing because 10psi with one turbo will not give you the same HP as 10psi on another turbo.....thats why compressor maps are important.

Either Im out of the loop or something, but I thought the ZC was non-Vtec only?
Itll work fine if you have the proper turbo setup, mainly engine management!

The engine has about 40,000 km supposed... on the reciept. I will be using a Greddy system , RC 310cc injectors, ACT 4 puck clutch and Exteme press. plate, ACT streetlite flywheel, custom FMIC setup, Greddy BOV, 255lph walboro fp, MSD ignition, coil, cap, wires, and 2.5" exhaust.....This setup on my Z6 at 12psi ran 13.5 @104 w/o the fly wheel on the 14" street tires.

nope, bone stock internals, motor has never been cracked open... vafc+440cc's+walbro fuel pump... The car is not daily driven, i would not recommend anyone do this... The motor is bound to blow up sooner or later... Besides, its the turbo is a 15g, its not the same as running 17psi on a t3/t4...
