Default Got a wierd clutch problem

So I let my buddy borrow my car. (First Mistake). Anyway he comes back with the car saying...hey the clutch is slippin. I take the car for a drive and low and behold...the clutch is slipping like an old lady walking on ice. Around two weeks go by of me babying the hell out of the clutch. Then one day, I had to get on it to get in front of a car and no slippage. I thought it was pretty wierd. So I tested the clutch from a stand still and it grabbed hard when I went into second. Then it was perfectly fine. No slipping at all.

My question is...when clutches start to go, they slowly fade out correct? So why would my clutch slip and then come back to life. Plans are in the making to get this badboy a nice little stage one clutch, but I am still curious why the hell my clutch was acting up.

Secondly, does anyone know of any write ups on clutch swaps in a 92 Accord EX

perhaps ur fucktard friend was slipping it like hell, and over heated the disc, and when u tested it, it was still hot, it can cause slipping.

I dont think that could be it because it had two days rest after I got it back. So it would have had pently of time to cool down

Maybe your friend got the clutch so hot that the surface glazed. It would take daily driving to get rid of it. Just my $0.02.
