i believe the f series tranny won't bolt up to the h series and it would be a good idea to use prelude axles stronger don't want to snap them

f22 tranny will mate up to the h22...it's what i'm using currently...i am also you using the accord axles and haven't had a problem, yet....you will need to wire in a couple of things as well, mainly just the extra components of the h22 motor, like the iab's, etc...it's pretty straightforward though and is a good motor to wake up the accord, but don't expect mirracles out of it in stock form...

what you can use for the drivers site mount is a combo of the two....if you keep the prelude one on the motor and use the car side from the accord one bolt lines up...for the second one you can actually drill a hole in the motor side of the mount and put a bolt trhough it and a nut on top...it sounds a whole lot more ghetto than it actually is... also, youll need to make some sort of plate for the throttle cables to hold on to...just take a piece of scrap metal and cut and bend it in order for it to hold them...otherwise your goin nowhere....im actually using a prelude axle on the passenger side and the stock accord one on the drivers...i would recomend you use the h22 tranny though...the f22 works but ive driven both and the h22 is way more fun...i also had to buy the power steering bracket from an h22 prelude because the pump didnt line up in the 95 accord...but did in the 92 accord the motor was in...if i think of anything else about the swap ill add it later...good luck man...its a **** ton of fun

thanks for the info. i dont know if ime going to the h22 in right away im going to try to run accross a good deal on one first. the f22 is knocking pretty bad but i think it will be ok for a while. but when i decide to switch motors im defintely going with the h22. anyone know where i can get a h22 motor only for less than 1000 dollars. im going to leave the tranny and everything else i possibly can. im just looking for somthing to play around with.

thanks

Is your accord an auto or manual? If its an auto then you dont want to mate it up to the h22. If you do, I believe the transmission will shift as if its hooked up to the f22 and you wont ever see any rpm above 6000. I could be wrong about this but Im not sure. If you have a 5 speed disregard this post

like i said im doing this on a low budget with a pecking motor right now. im looking to put a motor in for as cheep as possible. if i want to i can get a tranny later but i just dont have the money right now and im needing a motor. i dont see any reason to put another f22 in my car when im planning on doing a h22 swap anyway. so i just need a motor right now. but maby later i will go all the way with it. and i will already have the motor i want.
