Default looking for stronger synchros

does anyone know of any company that makes a set for a type r .i tried the usually ones like spoon ats etc just can not find them any info would be great thanks mike

I've heard positive things about cryo treating, but mostly from the companies that do these things. You could cryo treat OEM syncros, and according to the people that do this, they should be stronger.

might as well make custom syncros out of titanium for the amount of money? of course, that defeats the whole purpose of the syncros doesnt it?

how much does 2,3 and 5th gear synchros go for at the acura dealer in the states? if elsewhere cheaper, let me know

I didn't want to be the first to say that!

Though, I've heard that Porsche GT3's and other Porsche factory race cars may now come with steel synchros.
Speaking of which, what are some good Porsche web sites?

I'll try to get you some pricing. I just got a tranny rebuild kit for my 91 Civic 4dr beater. It came with all the bearings, (4) seals and 5 synchros. The nice thing about these kits is you don't have to buy the gear sets. Good pricing too.
