why does newsense run a 12.9 in revhard LS and most people run high 13's?
newsense ran a 12.9 @ 107 in a LS with stock Revhard kit @ 9psi on slicks.. most revhard or drag LS's i have read about run like around a 13.9 @ 103 on street tires.. Things just do not add up here..
oh btw this is not a flame towards newsense, i am just trying to figure out why his car is so damn fast compared to others..

track conditions and altitiude. I run mid to low 12's at englishtown and run high 12's at my local track in my GSR. Also driver like what the other guys said. Also a couple other things could help 2.

slicks made a big difference...he would have been about a 13.3 (?) I'm guessing on street tires....I have heard of other LS's and GSR's pulling off low 13s at that boost level on street tires....but like they say, Driver makes the difference!

I ran a 14.0 my first time at the track with my turbo LS at 7psi and running on 17" rims. On slicks, and boosting 9psi, high 12's seem reasonable.

because newsense is a liar. haha, jus playin. i saw him run those times with my own eyes. newsense has been in the game for a long time and is a damn good driver. you also need to take slicks/rims into consideration.

94 acura integra(same set up as me)... got his car to a 12.80@108
92 acuta integra(gutted at 12psi also on stock motor)12.59@110
and mr bQQsted hybrid there also ran a 12.9 at only 5psi..... sorry i cant remember your trap speed mario...
i as well have seen cars with turbos do higher times than me.... you just gotta drive the ****....
btw.... i will post my time slip later.... not saying you are calling me a liar... but just want to give you proof...
it was at battle of the imports in virginia and i actually made a post on here about it....

some tracks suck. my friend has a civic HB LS/turbo running 13.8 on 8psi in tucson. the car is a bullet and will probably run way faster at lower elevation.

i ran 12.8 at 11psi on ls stock block and in lightend stock chassis si hb so its possible and it all depends on how you drive.

I just wanted to find out if there was more to it.. Ive had people telling me I will barely break 13's and then u go and run a 12.. but once again props to u and your crew

every car is different.... it all depends on the install and the driver... and get some good slicks!!!
i was actually suprised myself at how well these revhard kits perform... i cant wait to take it to the next level and build it to start running some real boost.... ill keep you updated if you like... thanks for the props... i appreciate it
