Default Stereo Installation Help

I just bought a new cd/mp3/wma deck, the Alpine CDA-9813. It requires two extra wires that dont go on the adapter harness, a 12v constant which I ran to an empty fuse in the fuse block and a 12v switched. Where can I splice the 12v switched line into?

http://www.12volt.com youll find the info there .. i would suggest going to the 99 cent store and getting a test light then rewiring your wire from the fuse block to a constant power source behind the deck. Your switched power is back there too .. very easy to find and if you try this and cant find then i'll tell you what color wire to look for.

I would wire it to something else, but it says in huge letters in the manual and also on a sticker with the wire to NOT wire it to anything behind the dashboard, that it has high current draw and must be wired either directly to the battery or the fuse block. So what color is the switched wire?

Theres 3 of them that it instructs you in the manual to not wire to the adapter harness. Ground, Yellow --> Power Constant (which says use ONLY fuseblock or battery direct) and red --> 12v switched.
