What you think ppl Done up Type R or just a NSX!!!!!!!!!!
I had the same decision to make when I bought the ITR, though i don't regret it, I gawk at every single NSX owner (and the incredibly hot girl next to them)
Done up Type R. I would/could never take it too the limits I take my R to, I would be too nervous to wreck it....plus the fukin upkeep and maint is waaaaaay too much $$$$$$$.
neither. Dont do up the R and keep it as a daily. Then get the NSX for weekends and nice days. Thats what Im gonna try and do next spring.

They're really different cars in almost every way.
If you want an exotic supercar that is going to get noticed everywhere - this can be a good thing OR a bad thing - get the NSX. If you want a terrific track car and you don't mind spending a lot of money on tires - get the NSX.
If you want a car that isn't as conspicuous - keep the R. If you need to carry more than one passenger, or have lots of stuff to carry around - keep the R. If you need to drive it all year round - keep the R and get a set of winter tires for it.
Or, do what I do: one of each.

How deep are your pockets? Seriously? I thought about this once upon a time as well...I then talked to an NSX guy at an autoX about repairs on those things...ridiculous. With an all-aluminum body...if anything bad happens to it...forget it.
NSX is SLOW. especially the 3.0L
If I were to get one, it would at least be the 3.2L
I realize that its a completely different animal, and i would still love to have one,
I cant justify it over my integra.

The NSX is soo expensive if anything breaks.Go price some of the "wear"items at the dealer. You will no longer want an NSX.
Even if nothing breaks, regular maintenance is gonna be more than most can handle. Like $1000+ for valve adjustment. That's a mortgage payment!

NSX maintenance is way too expensive, and a Type R with I/H/E and Toda B's will walk all over most NSX's. Not to mention 1/3 the cost of insurance when you insure the Teg. Less fuel consumption, and less negative attention. Go with a NBP '01 and you won't regret it.
