Default KN RU3130 on AEM intake pipe?

would the kn ru3130 universal filter fit onto the end of a AEM intake pipe? And would the filter fit in the wheel well? I think the aem filter is short and stubbier.

I don't see why not. Just run the 3130 up a little farther on the pipe if you have clearance issues.

It wont fit.
3130 has a 3.5" ID. AEM pipe has a 3" OD.

by the way on a side note, can underhood temps cause the oil on the filter to evaporate? I currently run the 3130 on the stock rubber pipe with no resnator, it sits under my hood in the open.
