Default best turbo for my 84mm gsr project

I cant decide this on my own. I dont know what turbo to use with my 84mm gsr build. My whp goals are from anywhere from 375-400whp on pumped gas. I have been really looking into precision sc61 with the love fab sst manifold, or i was just gonna opt for the full race turbo kit with the t3/t60-1. Leaning more towards the sc61 lovefab combo. Is there any other turbo's i should consider other than this. I would really like to get the most for my money, and cody's manifolds are awsome, along with that turbo i dont think 400 whp with that motor and payn tuning will be an issue. What do you guys think?

the sc61 should be able to handle the 400whp-ish goal you are shooting for...you might also look into the full-race t3/t67 turbo they offer...it can put out some pretty big numbers while keeping the t3 platform.

You should find that helpful. the 3rd page has some good advice in it from DIRep972 in my opinion. hope that helps some, and there is some good info to be found on other archived threads. Just type in sc61 and select archived goodluck on finding the turbo to fit your wants/needs.

Damn, if you're going all out, why not a dual ball-bearing garrett gt35R? Their website has compressor and turbine maps.

Well if im going big displacement ( not really really big, but decent) then i dont think the bb turbo is going to be totally worth the extra money. People are making 400-700whp on non bb turbos alot. I dunno tho i guess it will all come down in the end to wich im going to buy. I really want the full race kit, and i think i may be happy with the t3/t60-1 turbo for the short term....haha prolly even the long run.
