Hey guys, i have a dohc zc swap in my 89 hatchback std and ive been running a crappy pm6 ecu and i just got a 89 integra pg7 5speed ecu and i tried to plug it up and start car and it just keeps turning over but wont fire. there is also a weird humming noise when i try to start, but if i give a little gas humming noise goes aaway but still no fire. please help, thanks in advance.

Is the check engine light on or are there any codes on the ecu? Does the motor start with the PM6? Maybe the PG7 is bad.

 

no check engine codes, yes it starts with the pm6. the guy i bought ecu from said that he was running it on his 89 hatch with a dohc zc motor tho. guess i got scammed, im ****** pissed. im out of a job right now and just lost 75 bucks, and now i need to get my pm6 chipped instead.
