Rear JDM SiR Disc Brakes.....any US replacement calipers?
So I've been driving my car with JDM SiR disc brakes on all four corners for about a year and a half now. The rears just locked up one day and stayed locked because of rust, i know i shouldve noticed something, but it was running fine. Is there a US replacement for the rear calipers or do I have to find myself another set of SiR's? Thanks in advance.

Talk to katman, send him an email on JHP or on IM on here, His friend Eric on his 'rusty' crx had the same thing you do and should be able to help you out.
Dude... I don't want to bust the "JDM legend" again... but the rear calipers are identical to regular Si calipers... so finding replacements should be a breeze.
If you don't believe me, check the part codes.

hrm, weird unique situation you got goin on there.
You actually don't need JDM SiR specific rear calipers. You can use rear calipers from a 90-91 EX sedan, 90-93 integra (i believe), and I think 92-95 Si/EX rear calipers are compatible with your SiR rear brake assembly too. With whichever you go with, just make sure you resuse your existing SiR parking brake cables.

As far as I know, USDM Si, and EDM Si rear calipers are the same. And so are SiR calipers.
I replaced my rear calipers with new ones about 6 months ago...and the "EDM Si" (VT) calipers are identical to the stockies I took off.

Doh - The US Ex sedan never came with rear discs, sir.
I think ANY Civic 92~00 have compatible rear disc setups's that fit onto the EF/ED. I would guess that they all have the same caliper too?
Probably not a bad idea to pull off a caliper and go to the auto store with it to double check for whatever you do get.

so i found replacements...94 integra, non ABS. thanks for all the suggestions guys. Since my car was already on jack stands i decided to change the front axles also. So with new rear calipers and pads and axles, the cars running like a champ, no more annoying clicking every time i turn.

All of the honda civic/integra rear disc calipers are the same (excetion possibly R) including the 96 spec R.
