Hi am new to HT, i own a 99 cw type R for 2 years now and enjoy it a lot. Dont say we dont have type R in 99, in Canada we had them Only performance mod i have is aem cold intake and im thinking of buying dc sports jdm header, hi-flow cat and apexi n1 catback. Do u think thats a good beginnig ?

Seriously welcome and yes the mods your considering are a good start, the JDM DC 4-1 is a great bang for the buck mod. Probably all of the high-flow cats and 2.5" exhausts are gonna give similar results.

I'm running the JDM DC 4-1 header and Apexi N1 setup. It's great, but loud as hell. Unless you like it stupid loud then I'd look for another exhaust.

 

keep it stock, mods only own your wallet.. especialy when you dont know what you really want out of your car.

 

we really need a sticky link to a FAQ page on this. At least once a week we get these.
