Default Just installed cold air intake....a few questions though

I just installed my ractive cold air intake and I like the increase in throttle response and a little more top end it gave me. Oh and the sound is pretty cool too. But I find my engine idle slightly rougher with the new intake because my air vent cupholder rattles ever so slightly now where it didnt before. Anyone notice that a CAI made the car a little rougher at idle?

Did you run a vacuum line into the intake from the valve cover?

yeah I ran a vacuum line. I figured out the problem, my spark plugs needed to be changed.

my old CAI used to rub on the side of the whole where the resanator used to sit. it drove me F'in crazy so one day i just wrapped about 5 feet of duct tape around it and now it fits nice.

It's always good to have new spark. Did you take it to a mechanic and that's what he told you? Cause that's a mechanics idea to solve any problem. "Der....just replace the spark plugs" Either that or the fuel filter. LOL

no I was just trying different things and figured I may as well change the plugs anyway since I just bought new NGK wires. I got some NGK plugs and the problems is gone. Now all I have a little rattling noise which I think is because my passenger side door is a little loose.
