rear defroster problems!
I own a 1990 civic si that is pretty much a project car. The problem that I am currently working on is my rear defroster. If I turn it on, or what would be on, the light on the switch comes on, but the defroster doesn't work. I have checked all of my fuses and I am now stumped. Why would the light come on if the circuit wasn't complete? Please help if you can.
I have also checked the lines on the glass and they are all intact. As for it not defrosting, the only real reason that it is a concern is because I was pulled over and given a $110 ticket because the window was all fogged up. I fought it in court saying that it was crap to get a ticket for that since there are delivery trucks and vans that don't even have rear windows to see out of at all, but they still slammed me with the full $110.
Sorry bout the ticket, i'm in Oregon too, i have seen cop more often on the street lately
. check if you have a water puddle somewhere on the trunk or inside your car, that might be the source.
about the defoger, i guess start using a volt meter
