Make sure the IM is from a manual tranny car. Also make sure its from a 96-98 car. Having an auto IM and from 99-00 you will have to do alot of machining to get it to work.... I found this ouit the hard way ahahha You must you a 92 and up Civic TB.... Or an H series or a B series....
The Y8 is best because to flows the best....
You can use the Y8 EACV/IACV but you must use your old IAT....

this maybe unrelated but you can take it for what you will. My setup D16Z6 in an 89 CRX Si. About a year ago i put on the Y8 manifold to replace the Z6 one. I used the Z6 fuel rail the only problem i ran into was the Z6 rail bolt holes didn't match up with the Y8 ones. I had to drill through part of the Y8 rail for one of the holes to match up and get longer bolts to go through it. Not a big deal but i enjoy the Y8 manifold at the same time I also bolted up and extra 1st gen B16A throttle body to it with no problems everything else went smoothly. Not sure how close the A6 fuel rail meets up with the Y8 so i can't comment on that.

What if you just used the TB that came with the automatic intake manifold? I've looked into this a little bit and -yes- the intake manifolds are different, BUT so are the TB's. The auto one has the IACV built into it rather than having it mounted on the back of the IM. Wha'd'ya' think?
