Problems with itr calipers on 92 hatch
I just put my itr brake calipers on my 92 hatch. They have been bled correctly numerous times and my brake pedal is on the floor. It does have pressure once you get there and it stops but i have to push them almost to the floor to get them to do anything. Is there an adjustment to move the pedal up? I have a gsr master cylinder and the brakes that i had in there from a 99si had much more pedal. Any help would be great.
you sure you didn't miss a connection somewhere and have one loose so air is getting in? make sure you didn't cross thread anything.
and you've bled all 4 corners? if you swapped the master cylinder there could be air still in one of the lines, especially a back one as it's got about 14 feet of line to progress through if it was a bubble at the front.
keep at it...

aren't they both 15/16"??
make sure that your master cylinder isn't leaking or anything (look up by the pedal inside the car)

I doubt that is it, it would actually make it harder to push
the pedal down, because the booster wont be working
with out it. Breaks still work fine, just really hard to
use them.

i put itr suspention on my girl friends car it had the same probiems, i ended up using a master cylinder out of a 92 si (but a 4 wheel disk non abs master will work) and a proportion valve out of a integra (non abs 94 +) that has the number 4030. i only found one in the local junkyard. then after that bleed them agan starting at the pass rear, then driver side rear, pass front, and last driver front.
i have seen this before and dont laugh, make sure the calipers are on the correct side. if they arent, the bleeders will be at the bottom. not the top where the air needs to get out. i have seen this plenty of times. good luck.
