Get a set of dedicated drag racing slicks for the track.

but there's gotta be a way to dip into 11's I'm only a good .5 seconds away or so

 

Use slicks - not street tires. That should be good for the 0.5 you are looking for.

 

What kind of slicks and what kind of rims do you put in those things.....I'm new to the whole "slicks" thing and would that really give me .5 seconds faster than my drag radials???

 

Never seen ya at the track, 12.5 with a 100 shot sounds a little low. What's your 60 foot like? Definitely go with slicks. One of these days when my car is back and running good we'll have another good ole get together! I"m Jeff in case you didn't know. O yea what's your trap speed?

I'm sure you've seen me at the track....I had an 80 shot single fogger wet and I was running 13.19-13.25@107mph with a 2.05 60'
I'm the car with the red carbon fiber interior I'm always at bithlo usually every friday
but I just went direct port and got new ignition, fuel rail, fpr and the mastermind and I expect to be somewhere in the mid to high 12's haven't ran it yet but I know I'll be in the 12's somewhere...oh yea and the 100 shot direct port

Your mph is indicative of 12's already. If you had slicks and got a 1.8 60' you should get a 12.8-12.7. I 'd be real careful going above 80 shot man.
