Default Presition turbo <-------(sp)

what is it with these turbos. I have been looking around this board and there's allot of peeps using them. what are the advantages over garrett and turbonetics (t3/t4). Thanks in advance.

Precision actually uses Garrett technology, so they are not SEPARATE from Garrett, for they use those components. Its actually a very good company, with good warranty and design specifications. I have to admit, there are those that are on a bandwagon of a different turbo company at least annually.

Innovative, Turbonetics and several others utilize some Garrett parts that are of the same family.

ok. so it's not like i could go wrong by choosing one companie over the others. Preferably Garrett.

yeah... i noticed the popularity of precision turbos as well. hmmm. what precision turbo would be equivalent to a t3t4?

Well, see that's the trick. Many of the options that are available from all of these companies use a "t3/t4" basic housing configuration. It's best to try and compare specific turbines, trims and efficiency curves rather than just use the term "t3/t4".. That's a big list

i see. im not really good in deciding what specific turbine and trim i would need for my setup. im pretty simple with my turbo fever. hehe

b16 99-00 si. As far as power goes, not looking to go over 250hp as of yet due to the fact that im keeping stock internals. Later on I will be doing sleves, pistons,rods. you know. Thanks.
