CR-V bottom end in Integra...
is this possible? to put the bottom end of a CR-V in an integra? I saw it in Import Tuner, i think... i know the CR-V is civic-based... so i guess it will fit... if so, this is better than an LS/VTEC conversion... huh? Has anyone else heard of this or done this? let me know the results...
Import review has a few 11 sec n/a Civics with this set up.It is a b20.Just like all the b series stuff you can mix and match. To answer your question yes,it is kinda like an ls/vtec.I am not sure how much better it is but they make a lot of torque.
Yup, talk about torque :] it is better than ls/vtec- .2mm bore more i believe - will make you a 2.0 . you got the money, get it done!! if you are interested, you should talk to http://www.prospeed-performance.com/
keep in mind you will also need some pricey head work in order to get enough flow to make the b20/vtec work properly .. as well as "spot facing" or matching the underside of the head to the larger bore.
b18c bore is 81mm
b20 bore is 84mm
b18c bore is 81mm
b20 bore is 84mm
