Default head gasket question??

I just was in teh process of putting the rest of my motor together and the torque wrench i was using was out of calibration and i snapped a bolt on the cam cap. It is stuck down in there and i dont want to **** it by trying to take it out myself. So i want to bring the whole head to my machinist and have him do it. Can i reuse the headgasket? It is brand new, and was just compressed. Is it ok to use again. I dont want to have to get a new one becasue i had to modify it for the ls/vtec dowel pins!

first off u shouldnt have to modify the headgasket at all for ls/vtec and dont bother taking the head off its really easy to get the bolt out. u need to get a "bolt extractor" or "easy out". all u have to do is drill a hole right now the middle of the bolt maybe an 1/8 of in inch in then use vise grips and the bolt extractor bit which has reverses threads built into it to back it out. it also helps alot to hit the top of the extractor with a hammers as u attempt to turn it...goodluck

also if your torque wrench was fucked up what about the rest of the motor?????

i had a different torque wrench for the rest of it. And when it came time for the torquing of the head i used my buddys snap on one, but it only went down to 50 ft lbs. And the caps are 20, so i borrowed a wrench from my school, but the idiots there always leave the wrench set to high numbers when they are done using it. Taht messed up teh calibration and i learned the hard way that you MUST always back the wrench back down.
