I got my new Tonabe Exhaust put on about 2 Weeks ago. Love the sound of it. Also 2.25" Piping W/ Carsound Cat. Pics do not do justice but hope to get a vid up prety soon. All comments welcome!

all mufflers rust. 5 years is actually pretty good.
My HKS mini dragar lasted me 5 years as well, and that is with Canadian weather. (the pipe leading to the muffler but not the actual muffler)

I think your bro had the G Medallion, He has a Hyper Medallion... not that theres a difference... Just stating the obvious

I've got an HKS Hiper catback thanks to ApexITR on the boards, I love it. But I've noticed a couple people in this post talking about their pipes rusting, is there any sort of "rust protection" you can put on your pipes to prevent this...I don't know about you guys but that was way to much money to just let rust away.

Yes all of the new Tanabe Exhaust systems are Stainless. The new ones that are stainless are called the Super Specs. I should know I have a Tanabe Super Spec Racing Medalion, and a Tanabe Super Spec Hyper Medalion. I love both of them!

Seveer, nice choice on the Exhaust.

The only thing I am thinking is his is not the new stainless model, because Tanabe stopped laser etching on the End of the Muffler like that by the tip. All they have now is tags spot or tack welded on the bottom of the muffler like this, yeah I know this is my racing medalion, but my Hyper and my friends hyper is just like this.
