Default tapping, pick ups for the stock fuel tank...

ok guys...
those that have modified your stock fuel tank for gravity feed external fuel pumps...

let's hear about it...

here's what i'm thinking...

1) drilling out the stock fuel tank drain plug to 1/2" NPT.
2) take a 1/2" NPT right angle to -8AN and wrap the threads with
fuel compatible teflon tape.
3) screw on a teflon lined locknut and slide over a viton o-ring
4) then screw on the fitting into the fuel tank until it's snug with the locknut that's screwed onto the fitting till it won't turn anymore.
5) from the inside of the fuel tank, slide over another viton o-ring.
6) thread on antoher teflon lined locknut until it's tight with the outter locknut creating a sandwich...
7) thread on another teflon lined locknut to provide a secure lock for the sandwich and fitting.

whatcha think?
opinions?
