Anyone know if they did anything to allow the toyota more power?

I don't keep up with it, but did see the testing day briefly and all the toyota drivers were claiming to be down on power to everyone else. Just wondering if that was sandbagging or if they were actually given some allowance.

I thought they all ran a 'spec' engine. e.g. not a toyota powerplant

I saw a special on SpeedTV, and they said TRD actually developed a pushrod motor since Toyota never produced one before.

I know that Toyato was limited to how much money they could put into the series, the other teams were afraid they would throw so much money at it they would win everything.

looks like they're certainly off to a good start in the truck series.. even with a cap on their spending..

hopefully they can pull out a couple of wins!
