Default Wings West body kit Question

my 88 Crx is going to have ww kit put on as soon as the bodywork is done to the car. Is there any info or tips on this kit anyone can pass on from there own experiance.

for instance: does the ww side skirts fit over top of your stock side skirts
(rockers), and the lower fenders(plastic garnish). or can you take the stock lower half completly off.

If anyone can give me a heads up on what to look for or make sure to do list it would mean a lot.

Thankz

Peace

There's a PDF file on Wings West's website. The only downside to the door cap is that it hits the fender when you open the door.

I had to use some epoxy to hold my door caps in place. The 3M tape wasn't really strong enough. One of the caps kept poping off

I have the WWrs kit and I can say if was going to do it again I would have got a cheaper fiberglass kit. I know they don’t "fit" as nice but most body shops will do a good job modifying it for the price difference.

Why you might ask? Well the WW kit is polyurethane (sp?) and I can say it is damn heavy. From the performance stand point, that is not a good thing.

Yeah, but at least you don't deal with cracking issues. Instead you deal with paint chipping issues. LOL. 90% of the urethane kits fit near perfect.

and the paint won't chip if you cook it first, or don't scrape
