Who makes a good quite exhaust that is not to restrictive. The reason my custom 2.5" ain't cutting the mustard. This thing is loud as F*ck! And on the highway you could just give up hearing all together.

Actually I have the apexi ws and the diamater of the piping is 60.5 I checked all other diamaters and unless its a thermal 3 inch or evo 2 or any other turbo muffler I believe it is the largest diamater piping exhaust thats extremely quite you dont hear anything but spool and blow off.

Whats your exhuast setup now? Custom? Maybe you just have a shitty muffler? I only ask because 2.5" shouldn't be deafening loud.

Are you running a resonator? I'm running a custom setup with a resonator and a 2.5" straight thru muffler and it's very quiet.

If you want quiet, go Mugen. Horrendously expensive but almost as quiet as stock with good flow characteristics. Friend got one in his Eg with a cammed up B18 and his intake drowns out the exhaust! The piping is only 2 1/2' cuz it's a N/A system so a Greddy would be my second choice. I'm biased towards the Apex and Thermal units though.

what muffler do you have on it? is it those arospeed "things" or the n1 style knockoffs? Keep your 2.5" weld on another resonator and get yourself a Magnaflow and weld on a tip so it doesn't resonate under your car......i thought i was driving a tank when i cut off the SP tip

My greddy evo was pretty quiet until I took out the cat. Now it's kinda loud but not too bad. I am gonna do the kteller full 3" with ES oval muffler. I hope that will be fairly quiet under boost!

Any exhaust will be loud if your running no cat! My thermal and 3" highflow is quiet around town but on the highway at 70mph it drones. BAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Rocket it has a lot to do with your shitty muffler. The turbo will quiet it down some.
get a full 3" exhaust from greddy and boost that damn thing.
