Default s2000 (15400-PCX-004) oil filter

i just called the honda dealership and they said they can order them, i have to buy a full case of them for $10 per filter.

What a rip off. You can get them cheaper at normal prices and in stock around here.

Why? S2k filter whats so special I dont understand. Just go to the local autozone and get a better Mobil1 filter that is more meant for your engine. Arent you aware that an S2k filter is meant for an S2k filter only and it suited to gives its correct oil pressure that is not ment for any other honda engine unless recommended. That is just my opinion its your car not mine.

what is so special about the S2000 filter? Didn't they have a habit of blowing off and setting the engine on fire / seizing the block?

where did you hear that?

&lt; i'm running a s2k filter but I'll probably go mobil one next time to be sure.

s2k can't be a bad filter, but mobil one seems better.
