Default Carbon Fiber Sunroof.. anyone tired it yet?

I am thinking about ditching my sunroof on my Si. I want to go with this kit on eBay that I have found but was wondeirng if anyone else has used this kit or has heard anything about it. Thanks.

that is the same picture of the cf plug that race plates uses. theyre a sponsor here and youll probly see the ad on the top page every once in a while. i dont think they sell them on ebay but i could be mistaken.

I mainly want the carbon fiber one for the weight saving and I don't really want a sunroof. I'd rather there just be solid metal but ya.

Well if you just want to get rid of the sunroof and you want metal, you could replace your roof with an HF roof for about the same money as a CF plug.

wouldnt that require that i cut off my existing roof and weld on a new one? i don't think i want to do something that extreme. thanks for the suggestion though.

Yes, it would, but it's actually not that extreme. I know a couple of members have posted lots of pics of their swap. It's not a cheap as a sheet of steel and some pop rivets, but if you want that OEM look and a metal roof...that's the way to go. Compared to a $300 CF plate, the cost and labor isn't that bad. Just an idea.
