Default Any Problems w/CF Hood & Turbo Manifold?

just wondering if anyone has Problems with their Carbon Fiber Hood and the Heat from their Turbo Manifolds. i have a tubular style Turbo Manifold on my EG and i don't want the hood to fade prematute becuz of the heat.

i'm thinking about a "Invader" Style hood on my Eg so that it can vent some of the heat produced from the Turbo Manifold.

Invader Style Hood:

I have a Turbo Si with a Full-Race Kit. I opted to go with a vented hood on my car. We make something very similar to the Invader. I actually make IVS style hoods as well, but for my car it was a lil too agressive. If you like the style of the vented hood then I suggest gettin one.

The OEM hoods will be fine for a turbo car as well, but I like a lil ventialtion in the engine bay. PM me if u have any questions. Peace!

if you can, post some pix of your car with the CF Hood on it. also, please post a pic of the hood that you're referring to.

hehe I've weighed my hoods, they weigh 18lbs with a rolled edge. If you want a rolled edge hood your going to gain some weight due to the fact that it requires more resin to make the hood. I guarentee the fitment of my hoods.

That is a clean EG man. I like it a lot.

Your one of the only customers that I have ever had complain about our bumpers. Sorry your C-west front did not fit as good as mine. It's a replica kit and I never claimed that it fit perfect. I told you it needed to be modified and MY EXPERIENCE with my own install on my own car. I believe I even saved the IM when we had this conversation. Your just bitter about the fact that the bumper didn't fit as well as mine and probably regret yelling at me because that didn't help things. Customers that just yell at me don't get anywhere with me bro. And you know for a fact I have helped customers like Josh from Club Si and many others when they had problems. I even replaced Joshes hood. But Josh didn't yell at me or dissed my product. He talked to me man to man and told me the problem and I fixed it. Simple as that.

I don't appreciate it when people like you MESSEGE ME ON AOL and say "I wish they stole your whole car rather than just your headlights, wheels and intercooler" That is soo rude, unprofessional, and uncalled for. I work hard for my **** and I don't be disrespecting people like that.

Fellas, PLEASE take this to PM or E-BEFF.com.

i need info before i purchase a CF Hood.

Thanks to B18C GSR CIVIC for sharing his pictures becuz i was going to buy the Invader style hood but after seeing both hoods on his white hatch, i prefer the OEM style. my next hatch will be white as well.

lets stay on the topic, thanx again !
