Expo 4: Florida crew.. Autotrain on return trip?
Ok, the Autotrain pickup location is Lorton, VA, which is ~80 miles from Summit point. It drops off in Sanford, FL (near orlando). The price is $294.00 assuming you don't want a bed. There is a lounge, which I assume serves alcohol
. Train leaves at 4pm monday arrives at 8:30am tuesday. Much easier than driving
Who's up for it?

My friend took that train (a few years back) and said it was horrible, had to wait forever to get on and then all the cars took a long time and then he said it was 16 hours to get to Fl and then HAD to wait till all the cars were off.
The only good thing ws that he met a girl he wound up nailing when he got to Fl.

That train is a nightmare. I used to live in Springfield Va, about 2 miles from lorton, went to school at UF, took that train once. smelled like ***, all in all a crappy experience. it is only 700 miles to DC from JAcksonville, the drive is really not bad, especially haulin *** with a bunch of other cars. My record is door to door, jacksonville to springfield in 8 hours

If I were thinking about taking a train ride, it might be a whole different experience knowing that I would be hangin' with a bunch of other ITR guys, instead of not knowing anybody there... Sounds like fun.
Looks like sunday night will be a pretty good time if all you drunks are sticking around.
Although we seemed to manage well without you FL peoples last sunday night at expo 3.

yeah, my car won't be able to get on the train.
I'm up for the big caravan back though.
I may actually stay longer and hit up Maryland & NY. Who knows.

We're staying sunday night anyways.
Going to try to find some more reviews of the autotrain. Personally not having to drive would be fine, even if the train sucked ***.
