Default JDM Headlight Housing Question

One of my non hid jdm headlights of my 96spec has developed what almost look like heat cracks, which is a bit of a nightmare as they are proving difficult to source in the UK.

Anyway my question is whats the reason for black housing and chrome housing, mine has black currently and I cant figure out why some people are selling chromed ones are they meant for different cars?

Also does anyone know where i can get a replacement item shipped from the US cheap?

Doh!

I just found this. sorry for wasting a thread..

Beginning in 1998, Integras in Japan all had the front end that was basically the same as the Integra Type-R. The main difference to distinguish between the Type-R was that regular models had a chrome housing headlight versus the black housing. A projector low beam combined with an H1 high beam and H3 auxiliary driving/fog light provides excellent lighting characteristics and nearly endless combinations of bulb wattage's and colors.
