what does 2.2 60' mean???
2.2 seconds to accelerate the first 60 feet.
The first 60' can make or break the race.
Usually if you have a low 60' time (2.3 2.4 etc) its due to traction issues. Runing slicks, a good driver can pull a 1.6 or even faster 60's time

it is the time it takes u to go 60', people post 2.2, 2.3 because they got street tires and it usually means they spin pretty bad, most of the guys on slicks are hitting 1.6-2.o which are badass times, i HEARD....1 10th of your 60' is 2 or 3 10ths of your trap ET.........please tell me if im wrong.

i dropped 2tenths off my time when i dropped my 60' by .1 not sure if that is enuff to justify how much you would really lose. i also lost a mile or two on my trapspeed by cutting a little better 60ft.

HT is ******* gay because of over-critical cry babies like yourself. Save your breath and time by not posting some bullshit post even worse than the so called "gay" posts above yours.
jdmjeff - hope that answered yoru question.
Here's what they give you at a 1/4 mile track when you make a pass.
R/T - .773 - Reaction Time - under .500 i believe will give you an 'fault'
60 - 2.148 - 60 foot Time <----what you asked about
330 - 5.975 - 330' Time
1/8 - 9.115 MPH - 78.77 - 1/8th mile and MPH
1000 - 11.840 - 1000 foot Time
1/4 - 14.147 @ 97.19 MPH - 1/4 mile Time and MPH
Just in case you missed what some of them said.
Slicks are racing tires that have no thread, flat rubber, gives alot better traction.
