Default Your Exhaust... Info Needed

I did a search and really couldn't come up with anything concrete. What are most of your exhaust setups? Did you remove your cat, and are you running with a resonator? I know around here most people do cat-back with no resonator. I'm just trying to decide if that's the proper route to go. If there's any sugestions, they'd be greatly appreciated.

I did exhaust on a budget...2.5" cat back mandrel bent to a magnaflow muffler. It sounds really deep and decent power mid range and low end torque...not bad for 220 bucks But I like greddy too.

I went with the dc sports twin canister system and header, sounds deep, not loud around town-only around higher rpm's. will change though, when i FINALLY get the hi-flow cat i ordered a while ago--good luck

I have the DC sports cat back with stainless header. If you have a 5th gen accord then be careful and make sure it fits right away. When I got my exhaust it didnt fit, and DC sports tried telling me it was my car that was wrong. What?? Yeah out of 300,000 cars honda stopped at mine and changed the design, yeah right. They told me to modify my car, I dont think so. After 3 months of arguing and fighting with them they finally accepted that there might be something wrong with it. SO I had to ship it back to them (yes I paid for shipping) and they extended it an inch so it could clear the undercarriage of my car. So just be careful, and I am not the only one to have this problem. Oh by the way other than the problem stated above the setup isnt all that bad, its quiet too. DOH!

my dc didnt fit exactly either--had to add a metal flange where it connects into the cat--i thought about sending it back-but this was an easy fix, with no problems

On these custom cat-backs, do you still have to weld the hangers and weld the pipes together? I've only seen 1 piece mandrel bent before and their's is 3 pieces.

I have a Greddy Evo on my car with cat. It has a nice deep sound buts not very loud. I was going to get a test pipe but i hear it makes the evo sound kind of raspy.

4-1 header 2.5", Greddy Evo, Test Pipe. Deep and LOUD.

Greddy's rasp really bad if you run a straight pipe.

Cat-Back custom 2.25" piping (from member KTeller8), no resonator, goes straight through to a magnaflow series muffler w/ a 4" outlet.. it looks lowkey and sounds real deep except at WOT.. without a resonator.. that WOT is gonna get raspy. Who know, maybe after a year of carbon build-up it could go away
