Anyone have a electron blue DC2? Was thinking of painting my car this color or a nice metallic blue, red, or grey. Pictures would be great thanks. I did search also, didn't find much

 

i believe its Super sonic Blue ..n yes its a fuken badass color...im thinkin about painting it that color this spring

 

IMO, this color is better then electron blue
its voltage blue, pretty rare i think

 

neh..super sonic blue looks better..its a purpleish blue..looks different in the day n night..if that makes anysense

 

i think everyone knows what SSBP looks like
but he asked for more of an electron blue pearl look
and voltage blue is closer to that, then SSBP

 

imo EBP looks better then SSBP

 

ebp definately looks good on a Civic coupe. I seen EBP on a teggy but I thought it didnt look well. If I ever got a teg, it be in SSBP or VB

FYI

EBP was ONLY on the Prelude and Civic Si.
The DC2 received Voltage Blue (non-Vtec) and SSBP (Gs-R) in 98-99 as a way to boost sales for the upgraded body styling.

SSBP


SSBP shows up differently to people because it tricks the eye and camera. It consists of a Red base coat with Blue over top (multiple coats, it's not this simple) which makes some people think it's Purple.

 

Electron Blue was also on the CRV though I think it didn't have the pearl. Just adding my worthless $.02

ummm... the Voltage blue sedan that i posted up, is a GSR.
