Desmond Regamaster EVO: silver or gunmetal
This spring I will be buying a set of 16" Desmond Regamaster EVOs. It's the same wheel as the Spoon sw388 but it comes in silver, gunmetal and white. I have a fbp 00' Si. Mods are in my sig. My question is which color do you like best under black...?

gunmetal, or black. Personally I likw bronze the best but regamaster evo doesnt come in bronze. I don't like the way white looks, it is too much contrast between the shades to me, plust it seems to bring out the dullness in yourt paint if it is starting to fade.

well, to aid you in your decision, I will post some pictures of my 16" regamasters (in silver)....
Gunmetal is sweet too....It's a toss up.

I don't know, though.... on a black car, I'm thinking gunmetal might be a better choice. Hmmm... Depends on what look you're going for. This wheel in gunmetal really isn't that dark, and doesn't appear to have the bronzy look (which in my opinion isn't the best)...I like the classy gunmetal hue these come in. Either way you'll be happy.
BTW, where are you getting them from? R&D motorsports?

I like the gunmetal evos but I think it will give the car an overall 'dark' look which Im not going for. The silver evos will give it a nice contrast.

Aren't EVOs available in black here? I could have sworn I saw a set when I was in HK christmas... they were glossy black, not the wet sandpaper like alumite black on the Spoons. you can't go wrong with a 16" Desmond wheel... they look soooo much better than the 15", which looks like poo in my opinion.
Do the Rota Slipups have that crease in the spoke like the Regamasters do? I'm glad there's finally a thread about these nice wheels. It's funny seeing all these people go gaga over the wannabe wheels.

On yours, Gunmetal... and get some anodized red lugs to accent the wheels and match the EVO logo on the wheel.

wrong, desmond regamasters come in bronze you silly sailor... ill get you a picture of them if you want, I even have numerous option videos with them in bronze... they are not hard at all to get a hold of, everyone is just on gunmetals nutz right now.

I dont think so. I know the Spoons are only available in black and as far as I know the Evos are only available in silver, white and gunmetal.
desmond regamaster evos are availible in silver, chrome <I **** YOU NOT>, bronze, gloss black, and polished.. They also have some ugly *** center caps too... I would just spraypaint my hubs black or something...

hey degradated, nice choice of gratorade, that is Star Fruit gatorade rite? oh yeah ur car looks dope... wat kinda digital camera do u use?
The cam is my dad's...Olympus E-10, 4.2 megapixel I believe..full SLR. Pretty nice digital camera.
