Just think of your intake..........................only carbon fiber

Seriously, this thread belongs in appearance and before it gets locked or moved I will tell you the only one I know of is the J's Racing intake. In my opinion it isn't worth the money in the leastbit.

dude if you are worried about a few ounces you better be running a fully stripped ITR with a 6 pt chomoly cage, forged wheels, fal windows, fiberglass doors, and a removed bumpersupport.

then maybe a few ounces count

CF cools better than aluminum and they dissipate heat faster than aluminum also is acoustically inert. Aluminum or plastic cant compare. CF is better. there are ppl that make CF, or you can have one custom made (for heat).

Are you serious?!?, gimme a break. There is no excuse for blowing $300+ on a short ram intake. If you think about how fast the air travels through the intake, there is without a shadow of a doubt NOT enough time for there to be a temperature change. Also, your Aluminum argument is BS. Aluminum does not conduct heat. That's why we use aluminum foil in the oven.

In theory, your argument is somewhat factual. Although in a real world application, it's meaningless

HEAT passes through aluminum, the air temp does change. Have you ever seen CF brake disc (In a matrix), they glow red hot when braking then, the glow goes away.
Heat passes through aluminum (Period)
A CF intake is better than an aluminum intake.
YOU DONT KNOW **** ABOUT CF.

MB, Ferrari, and lamborghini dont use it in there engines for bling.
F1,Indy, and even some lemans racecar's dont use CF intakes manifolds for no reason this anit for the average tuner. (You sound like a cheap *** ****)

Aluminum is cheaper than CF, CF is a highly valued material they dont use it on aircraft that break the sound barrier for no reason.

Go use your CF you damn ricer. End of discussion, a CF intake on an INTEGRA (last time I checked they weren't multi-million dollar aircrafts) won't do ****. The air would most likely be of a higher temp because the intake is relatively close to the engine (J's Racing) as compared to something like the Comptech Icebox, which is plastic (God forbid.)

Please don't list the words Ferrari, le mans, and aircrafts that break the speed of sound in the same category as an Integra.

Now it makes me a ricer, you use that word you got nothing better to say.
If the intake was ALUMINUM It's still CLOSE TO THE ENGINE TOO, JACKASS and it would make the intake temp hotter than CF would.
YOU DONT KNOW **** about (PERIOD) Cheap *** you cantafford thats why you rant about it.
What do you know about aircraft, they use CF brakes not CAST IRON , in there fuselage structures also.

LEMANS, F1, SUPERBIKE. All hondas inthat participate in that use CF brakes, heat shields, AND INTAKES. YOU DONT KNOW ****, you COMPARE and you dont put any facts down. Its just what you think about it. IM DONE YOU FUCKEN HATER.

Ok, you put a CF intake on your FnF civic. I love when high-school aged noobs try to get sophisticated.

1) Learn how to spell

2) Don't waste your money on garbage(like shortram intakes) that won't help performance

3) Just because honda participates in F1 and/or lemans and uses CF in their vehicles, doesn't mean that the same application will yield results in your car.

Please don't reply again w/ meaningless verbal diarhhea. Oh, and my 00' ITR wasn't cheap.

LETS SEE THE DYNOS!!!!!!!!!
