I couldn't believe this when I heard it a while back. WHY in the hell did Discovery channel choose an 1/8th mile track to run on?

I know this isn't a war or anything, but AT LEAST make the damn race fair! AWD talon vs a FWD civic in an 1/8 mile?! That's just plain nuts.

If we loose, I want a rematch .

By the way, I've been trolling the DSM boards. May God rest their souls They talk about us like we're terrorists or something.

Im glad to know at least the MATURE DSM crowd has far more respect for hardwork than the "KIDS" on those boards.

 

$$$$ issues... from what i heard, lacr wanted to much, or discovery just didnt have the budget for it

 

i saw the commercial on discovery ch and it looks like that urwindale track. the same track they use for that monster garage show.

 

It is the irwindale track. The guys from the DSM boards were there watching. They also spoiled the surprise of who wins

I'm confused as too how apexi used a delta gate, and a b16. and looked liek they were using a vafc to tune..

wtf: they had that bad-*** skyline in the back..but they built a b16 in a coupe with a drag kit..gay.

and those times were atrocious.. im sure that chick didn't know how to drive either..how do you put a chick used to driving a single cam in a turbo dual cam? I can imagine her driving being less then perfect. I wonder what her 60ft's where. Did she not even get practice on the street before.

There were so many problems with that show.
