i hear ya man, its just that i've had mom's call me about this thing and think it comes with 17's and lowered already from the factory, someone also asked me if it was a Type R, haha, they have no clue of what anything costs, never underestimate the stupidity of the general public ya know...i just want to get rid of it....but ive seen POS accords going for 2500, and mine is in awesome shape and has so much extra stuff...oh well.

I think selling cars on ebay is pretty dumb. I find it unsafe since there are so many bad people out there. I say put that thing in auto trader and just wait.

I agree, e-bay has a bad rap for selling cars and bikes. I was offered $3000 for my 90 Accord by the gas station attendant while I was getting gas. These cars have a very strong following as we all know, just put an ad in your local paper.

i'd buy it if it wasn't for the color and the price :-)

part the wheels -- sell just the car -- good price $3k - $3.5k

Not crazy about the wheels and suspension myself, but that's cause I'm a domestic dude and not crazy about modded imports. To give you an idea of what to expect, here's a pic of my car:

I bought it for $1000. '91 model EX coupe. It came with the wheels and new tires and the chrome trim I wanna take off. Now, yours IS in nicer condition than mine, and way less mileage... It has about 209,890 miles on the ticker, haha. Now, originally the previous owners put it up for $2k, then lowered to $1800 (when I found out about it), then when I was getting ready to want to buy it, it was $1600. My parents talked them into a deal behind my back and got them down to $1000.

I do agree with your starting price. I have yet to find another 4th gen Accord that nice looking (which reminds me I need to wash mine). I wish my engine bay was that clean, lol, it's filthy. Another thing to mention about the price of my car is that the power steering fluid leaks, the washer fluid reservoir holds NO fluid (I just tried filling it up and it gushed right out, haha), and my A/C doesn't work, so yeah, your price sounds pretty good. VERY nice car. Why you gettin' rid of it?

btw, werd about that stock radio, it does suck... I just got a CD player installed and it was a MAJOR improvement...

sell it for what it is worth, you are never going to get the money for aftermarket mods that you put into them, don't even include that in the price. most people don't wanna buy a car thats already modded, i garauntee that if you put it back to stock someone will buy it in a heartbeat. its in great condition

from what i have seen its hard to sell imports with mods unless you happen to know someone who wants it this way--i would either part it out/or if it can be done yourself, put the stockey stuff back on. otherwise hopefully you get lucky in your local market

like everyone mentioned. Put it in your local classifieds or autotrader and you would get much better results. People are usually fishy about eBay nowadays.

Just a thought. If u put it back to a more stock look. You would pull in the older crowds that are not into imports also. It is much much harder to sell a semi built import. Unless it was Turbo/supercharged and had crazy stuff on it.

Free Bump for a another 4dr owner.

YOu have already bolted stuff on it..sadly the way to make any money at all with honda's is part out the parts you can and take it back to stock and sell it as a grandma car cause that is what ppl want

like everyone said, your local newpaper would offer much more attention. i dont trust ppl for sh-t if i can't see it in person, let alone a car.

one of my sister just picked up a LX protege 00' power everything for 5 grand(with tax, reg. and all the paper work) out of door. Car is in very good condition.
