Actually I ordered one for $600 shipped and I have to say that it fit pretty poorly also. The side skirts seem to be to short and don't match the style lines of the car. I've seen worst though, so I'm happy.

if you order it straight from wings west then it should be great. I knew that but was molding my kit anyways so I grabbed the cheapest kit I could and molded it.

I would never expect it to fit perfect

Every CRX that I see on the net that has the Wings West kit always has a gap between the bumper and fender line. I think that most aftermarket kits NEVER have perfect fit.

Most likely kits are not going to be a perfect fit. That goes with any car. But they are expensive kits out there do fit just right.

Mines fit okay, if you look from a distance it looks alright. When you look up close you can see some gaps. the main one is the between the doorcap and the fender. My front bumper didnt fit perfect but im guessing that's because i had some front end damage. You have to line up the sideskirts and the door caps good to match each other. Other things you need to do are get 90-91 bumper lenses if you don't already have them and find some way to drill holes for the rear license plate lights, the stock ones look ugly and dont fit good.
Here's a pic, its not molded

The sag comes after time. when I had my rex with the WW RS kit the fitment was literally perfect all around. And I have fitted the sister kit for my 89 HB. Neither cars were ever wrecked. BUT that is a very nice REX

mine fit pretty much perfectly....except you can see i wasn't paying attention when putting my door panels on. they a little high with the side skirts. when it gets warmer out im def trying to take them off. and re aligning them.

btw the license plater looks better in the grill like mine. i used to have it behind. but i was sick of all the tickets. and i need to still put in my bumper lights, its been almost 6 months without them, but i like the fast blinkers.

did anyone have to put there 90-91 bumper lights in upside down? i heard thats the oly way they fit perfect? thanks

its called.....aftermarket
99% of aftermarket stuff needs fine tuning...there is no such thing as "bolt on".

mine fits pretty decently...the only trouble is the gap in the front bumper but thats cause there was some nice front end damage to the car from the previous owners.

for more pics check my shitty site in sig.

mine doesn't fit well either, but its better than most. For some reason though the drivers side of the bumper is starting to flare out its like 2-3 inches pushed out more than the other side.

as for molding the kit i wouldn't mold the fender to the front bumper. if you ever need to take the bumper off to do anything ... maybe add some fog lights ... you can't.

to add another thing...ive also added braces to the corners of the front & rear bumpers. just a peice of round stock welded to the frame and bolted to the corner of the bumper helps keep it from shaking and the paint from cracking.

also molding body work on may look good...but if your gonna drive the car it might not last long. ive got stress cracks (in the metal) around the corners of my sunroof...i can imagine what a wad of bondo would look like after a few good potholes.

thanks, its the origional y-49 barbados yellow...without 13 years of fading its not a bad color.

i thought the tail lights look ok with paint...better than the all clears i have in the attic!

Barbados yellow, thats what I figured. When I get my Y-49 repainted, I'm thinking of adiing a hint of pearl. Could look interesting. Anyway, nice car. I've always wanted to see An RS kit on a barbados yellow ED. Seems like everyone's going Phoenix yellow these days.

dont mold kits on. what if you need to replace a fender? IMO just not a good idea.

No dout, my side skirts have the same problem. My body guy said the doors were going to be a nightmare and guess what........IT WAS.
