Default Clicking when off of gas

Just recently my car has been clicking when i let off the gas. Kinda sounds like back in the day when you put a card in your bike spokes. It sounds like its comming from the front passenger side and when i slow down the times between clicks slows.
Both my half-shafts are perfect and i just had polyurithane motor mounts installed which are fine.
I can barely hear it when accelerating. Also when i let off gas i can feel it in shifter.
Anyone have any ideas?
I do have abs that likes to act up.

Bad Axles/CV joints?

How about when you turn and press on the gas?

axels are fine, no rips, tears nothing.
turn and press on gas the clicking seems to be quieter, but its hard to hear over my intake and polyurithane bearings.

My dads Acura Vigor has Abs and makes a clicking noise only deaccelerating in second gear. I guess it has something to do with the ABS sensor. I think you should take off the wheels and inspect your brakes and sus. components.

try jacking the front of the car up and spin each wheel and see what you hear.... leave the tranny in neutral and have a friend hold the other wheel so that it doesn't spin....

i dunno what your problem is... but this would help you figure out where it was coming from exactly... possibly.

the abs comments make sense b/c the abs sensor would be misaligned and rubbing BUT i would THINK the abs sensor/mechanism would be stripped down by now and/or your abs light would be on...

If you're axles are bad/on their way out, it doesn't mean the boot has to have a tear or rip in it. Sometimes the bearings inside just take a crap. Jack the car up and see if you can hold the axle and have someone else put torque on the wheels/rotor and see if it'll turn. It might make that click sound.

Also could be your wheel bearings, but that makes more of a "rubbing" sound that fades in and out (kinda like a throbbing sound).

BUT!!! And I sincerely hope it isn't this. But in my Integra, it slowly started to do this. Very faintly at first. And it really does sound like your problem, I hope it isn't. It was the very beginning symptom of rod knock/spun bearing. At first it would only do it when I got off the gas. Did it for several months. Changed the axles, nothing. Still clicked. Eventually, it got worse and clicked even on the gas (i.e.: there was forward load on the transmission). Then it got louder and louder until it became a loud banging noise. Like gunshots going off (increased with engine speed).

Then one day.....BANG! Motor dead

I hope that isn't it.....but it really sounded like the problem I had. Good luck, mang

ya i had a motor already do that to me but it only took 1 day to do it. heh
im fairly sure its not the axels because they were replaced about 8 months ago. but ya never know i guess. Ill have to wait on jacking up the car untill i get a garage to do it in cus its snowing like crazy here. it does not seem to have any effect on my car. Its still just as powerfull breaking abs still works... everything seems fine.
Ohh well, time to jack it up and try all that.
