crank...how smooth????

when you take off the main bearings, how smooth is the crank supposed to feel when you rub it with your fingernail?

it should be farely smooth. if there is burn markes or scaring it could be caused by many different things.

what if you can feel little groves on the crank? like its been scratched a little or something.

yuo should polish the crank out talk to Earl and ask him abotu benson polishing and cleaning of crank it works really well
