Coilover Sleeves on Prokit???
hey everyone. i know this will sound stupid but, i was just wondering if it was possible to buy some cheap coilover sleeves off ebay and put them on my eibach prokits, just the front springs.
you may ask why? well the front gap of my 91 accord is much bigger than the rear. i want to lower the front a little to even it out.
you may ask why dont i just buy some new springs? well im too poor to buy some new springs and its hard to find someone selling some used ones like h&r/neuspeed sports.
i was thinking of just replacing the front springs, well its hard to find someone just selling front springs.
well if anyone does know if this is possible let me know. thanks!!!

you could cut and reweld the perches, but thats sketchy at best. Get some koni adjustables and drop the front perch. The sleeves will not be intended for the prokit, nor is the prokit intended to be used w/ sleeves. jm2c and if you do it yourself, be careful, a loaded spring can seriously injure or kill you. good luck.
fyi the car sits unevenly for a reason.....though the wheel gaps may be different, the car is parallel w/ the ground....i wouldnt do it....too dangerous
My accord sat like that too. It is supposed to though. Other people have commented on the same thing, but thats the way it is. I wouldn't put prokit springs on sleeves. If you want adjustabillity, buy some quality coilovers like Ground Control or something.
