well if your gonna spend the money on a turbo muffler realize its a 3inch muffler, it wouldnt make sense to do 2.5 b pipe to a 3inch rear section. Do all 3inch or dont waaste the money.
I have it all 3inch from the turbo back to the muffler and i dont think its loud at all. youll get a good rumble and backfire from it when you let off the gas sometimes, but all in all it dont sound bad at all

When I had my thermal 3" in my integra-- thing was CRAZY loud. I couldn't stand the droning on the highway. I opted to do a 3" downpipe w/ a cutout and a bunch of reducer cones to fit the 2.25" n1 exhaust I swapped it out with.

And on the contrary, I run a full 3" exhaust on the DSM and it's no louder (and definately a more pleasing sound) than the B18's 2.5".

Use a decent muffler and a straight through secondary, and it'll be nice and quiet.

If you use a ricefest 3" can, of course it's going to be load. I doubt those things even have insulation in them.

Just go full 3" and call it a day. All motor people run exhuaston thier cars, and IMO most all motors cars sound like **** compared to Fi cars. Imo 3" exhuast is no louder than a Na car with a catback. It's deeper yes, but the gains are worth it. Besides its only loud at partial throttle

Get the 3" and if it's to loud for you, ill buy you some ear muffs
