Default Replacing copper o-ring on GE block.

I recently pulled the head off of my GE sleeved block after about 700 miles. Does the copper o-ring need to be replaced every time the head comes off? If so, where do I get the stuff. Thanks.

I would try to replace it, I forgot the size, but just take the crushed o-ring to an electrical supply place and they should be able to help you out. Also get the softest copper you can find.

I have took the head ou of the o-ringed GE block several times and I never bothered to replace the o-ring and it held up fine..
