I have a 2000 Si cd player, but not the harness. Its going in to my girls 96 hatch. I want to make a custom plug out of some other harness, but I need to know the pinout. Anyone with a Helms or a Harness adapter for a 00 Si out there ?

Talk about bad timing.. lol I just came back from Autozone. I managed to take a peek at the harness adapter, and figure out the pin locations from there. Btw, It looks like the persons writeup is upside down. He might have made the same mistake as me, I drew my diagram upside down too, but then flipped it and everything worked. Thanks for your help anyway though.

metra makes plugs for that radio, you can order it from most car audio shops, and some might even stock them
70-1720 plugs into the hatch
71-1721 plugs into the 2000 si cd player

 

Maybe I was a little too tired when I wrote that. I finished making the plug out of another harness, and when it was all done, it didnt power up. I guess it wasnt upsidedown at all.. lol. So now I gotta pull it out and flip all 10 or so pins.
