Default need recipe for souped accord

ok, when baking a cake you have ingriedents and directions to follow, well im looking for a recipe for making my 92 honda accord, sporty, fast and somewhat obnoxious. Im not looking to drag down the strip every weekend, but would much rather know what i have and be able to use it when i need to. I can pretty much figure out the apperance part of it, but i need some help or thoughts and ideas on what i need to do, buy and install to make this recipe for speed.

this is what i have on hand. I have a recently purchased,(2 days ago), 92 accord lx that has the f22 16 valve engine. all oem. It has 239,000 miles and not a puff of smoke. this is the car i want to use.

I have a completely rebuilt h23 block with an h22vtec head, all put together and mounted to a crate because i was going to sell it at one time. I also have 2 other h23 heads sitting here, and enough parts to make a complete h23 motor minus a block.

I dont want to dump a ton of money into this, but at the same time i do want performance. so im asking for the ingriedents i need to make this happen.

with all the things i have here available to me, i can also use these parts to trade for stuff too. so if anyone can get me pointed in the right direction it would be apprecieated.

Since you have the motor out and parts to trade, my recipe would be...

tear down block, get sleeved and build w/ 9.0:1 pistons good rods, total seal rings etc, etc
tear down head and replace the valvetrain except for the cams (ferrea, crower, rev)
new studs, bolts, nuts, etc
t3/t4 unit or a nice precision turbo (sc61) and a custom manifold
good IC like precision, spearco, etc
inconel piping

well, you see where I am going with this.....

turbo is the easiest way to build very high and true WHEEL horsepower.. so much power can be made with an H23vtec if the internals are done properly.. and u have the the high flowing higher revving h22 head which can all be tuned to put out some serious WHP numbers

first things first..how much money do you plan on spending??? it will cost way more than what your car is worth to do an H22+built motor+turbo. imo, just use that money towards a downpayment on a better faster car. in the long run you will be happier.

well i already have the h23/h22vtec sitting in my garage. all rebuilt ready to plug and go. but if the consensus is the accord isnt worth my added effort and money then maybe ill just sell everything. have a im selling all honda parts plus car plus engine and i go back to working on my olds cutlass 442. I got into hondas because of the aftermath of a step child. but like i said before, ive done all kinds of cars, trucks and 4x4's and was gonna add honda to my list. guess ill be a old guy and finish my cutlass then. so people, i got alot of parts for sale. check the classifieds, ill begin listing what i have.

i would drop in the built motor and maybe had some nitrous, but i wouldn't go much further than that with your current car if you really want to keep it. even still the motor and car are worth more separate than together, so maybe try selling them and you would have a nice downpayment for a wrx, which is what i hope to get in the future. if you look around there are alot of peopel who have done H22 turbos in accords, but most don't last much more than a year cause they either break or get sick of them.

just my .02

well thanks for the 2 cents worth, sounds more like 5 cents worth. reality is i wasn't going to keep the car if i built it up anyway, it was just strickly for show and tell then sell. that's what i do in life. being in a wheelchair i wouldn't have much use for it. my main goal i think was to make it fast and sporty then tell my kid what he ISN'T going to have. kinda a spite thing because of how he tore up the nissan 300zx i painstakingly built for him a few years ago, just for him to wrap it around a tree then say it wasn't his fault. teenagers!!! can't live around them and can't kill them. they know EVERYYYYYYTHING!

well if someone could help me figure out how to post pics of my parts for sale it would be appreciated. what i would really like to do however is have a buy everything one price. and that would even include the car to drive it all home in, well with a trailor to bring motor.

i will throw in the teenager absolutely free of charge. he will be able to tell you how to put everything together and what makes it all work and maybe he will even explain to you the process of atomization on the nucleas of ionic birdshit.

hmmmmmmm? do i got attitude? lol
