Default fuse for interior dash & cluster keeps blowing

Hey guys, I was just messing with my amp the other day trying to figure out why it stays on when I turn off the car and well when I put it back together, the stupid fuse for the dash lights and cluster blew when I turned on the lights.???? I replaced it a few times and it kept blowing so right now I drive in the dark with only the outside lights turned on at night. I also still haven't figured out why my amp still stays on when I turn off the car. The remote is hooked up to my EQ since there was a lead to it and even when I disconnected the remote, it still stayed on. My amp is wired directly to the battery for power, and grounded in my trunk. Soo, yup two questions, why does my fuse for the dash and cluster go out, and why does my amp stay on when I turned off the battery??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
